論文は地域観光の連携の影響要因に関する定量分析方法の提示を通して，地域観光の連携に関する発展計画や政策の制定などに有益な参考を与えることを目的としている。本論文は河南省を例として，観光市場，観光資源，交通の面から分析した。更に，河南省における地域観光の連携について，人文観光資源を中心とし，核心観光地域を構築し，核心地域は辺縁地域を輻射し連動し，全省の観光産業の発展を牽引すべきと提案した。
