Problems on Malignant Mesodermal Tumors of the Skin : Cytogenesis, Classifications, Stagings and Monitoring of Malignant Manifestations

Problems on malignant mesodermal tumors of the skin were discussed, with a special reference to their cytogenesis, clinical and histopathological classifications and stagings. About following groups of diseases, author's proposals for the classification and staging of diseases, exminations using questionaires to dermatological clinics of all the university hospitals in the west part of Japan and investigative studies by the author and his collaborators were discribed. 1. Group of fibrous tissue tumors including dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, malignant fibrous histiocytoma and fibrosarcoma. 2. Group of lympho-reticular tumors including malignant lymphoma. 3. Group of vascular tissue tumors including Kaposi's sarcoma, malignant hemangioendothelioma and malignant hemangiopericytoma.
