1）近年におけるわが国の年令別に見たポリオ罹患率分布曲線は抗体保有率分布曲線と大勢において逆の型を示し、他方ポリオ患者の年令別累積百分率分布曲線は抗体保有率分布曲線と殆ど相一致するか、あるいは平行的関係を示し、３才～４才迄の患者が全患者の70～90％を占めていることでは諸家の知見が相一致している。
