64才の男子。排尿困難と腰痛および左顔面不全麻痺を初発症状として始り、8ヶ月後、全身痙攣発作、発熱、左側麻痺、意識障害、失行症などを来たし、脊髄液での軽度の総蛋白の増加に伴う細胞蛋白解離現象が見られ、脳腫瘍の疑いがおかれた。さらに約２ヶ月後、大発作時、右側頭部を打撲して以来、頭蓋内出血症状を呈し、９日後に死亡した。全経過約1年。
