大学教育は正課教育である知的専門的な教授研究と、正課外教育として人格的形成を総合的に援助するという二つの柱から成り立っている。大学に入学してくる学生がこれまでどのように変わってきたのか。また彼らを受け入れる大学と教職員も、またどのように変わったのかを呈示する。さらに読み取れる範囲の中で、学生、教職員、大学がこれからどのように変わっていくのかを予想する。これらを踏まえ、保健管理センターにおけるメンタルヘルス活動がどうあるべきか考察する。
