筆者らは、コーパスを用いて日本語学習者に役立つ情報を収集することを目的とし、類義語である「進歩」と「向上」を例にコロケーションの異同について調査を行った。コーパスは国研(2009)『現代日本語書き言葉均衡コーパス』で、日本語解析エンジンとMicrosoft Excelを用いて、コロケーションの検索と用例数をカウントした。本稿では、その調査結果を基に学習者にとって必要と思われる「進歩」と「向上」のコロケーション情報についての試案を述べる。
