The dissolving phenomenon of SiO_2(B_2O_3)-La_2O_3(CeO_2)-Li_2O system glasses were studied in this paper. The fused glasses were powdered into paticles of 35-60 meshes and 1g of them were immered in 50ccwater of 30,50 and 70℃ and agitated for 10,20,40 and 80 min.. Then the amount of Li ion dissolved in water was measured by 0.01 N HCl. The results were as follows. (1) Log of amount of Li ion dissolved in water was linear function of log dissolving time and the reciprocal of dissolving temperature. (2) The amount of Li ion dissolved in water did not depend on La_2O_3 mole in glasses. (3) The amount of Li ion dissolved in water was a little in SiO_2-. system and the amount of Li ion was much in B_2O_3-. system.
