前報においてはベンチュリスクラバの捕集効率及び圧力損失について理論的研究結果を述べた.実際の装置においては捕集効率は洗浄水滴の分布状態によって著しく影響を及ぼされるものである.したがって, ベンチュリ部断面において水滴の良好な分布状態を維持することが非常に大切であるにもかゝわらず, その良否を検知する方法については現在までほとんどその発表をみない.この本論文はこの問題を解決するために試みた光学的方法, 並びに吸引ノズルによる定量的方法について述べたものである.それらの方法は実験室的規模においてはかなり成功をおさめることができた.
