Cellular components of the two biovarieties of Fusobacterium necrophorum were studied by polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis. Results obtained were as follews: 1) In comparison with both heat and HCI extracts, freeze-thaw extracts were found to contain relatively a lot of bands in the columns with amido black staining. 2) Depending on the biovarieties and the extracts, each of the band distributions of heat and HCI extracts varied some extent. 3) Common antigen of the species to be stained with amido black was recognized in HCI extract by agar gel precipitation test.
