The Fisher's rules were put into Japanese in order to serve as guides for apprentice clinician. The neuroradiological and endocrinological examinations have greatly developed in neurosurgical fields for 20 years. Then, many neurosurgeons are inclined to forget the conversation to the patients and their physical examinations. Every doctor should understand the Fisher's rules and put all rules into practice during the period of residents in the Department of Neurosurgery or of the rotation. Fisher's rules are necessary to student, practitioner, teacher, and clinical explorer. The author hopes to give the postgraduate students to know the attitude to the patients or their families as well as philosophy of medicine and science in this paper.
