Urinary Donaggio reaction values of healthy male workers were determined by using the method improved by Hobara et al. in a manufacturing workshop. The results obtained are as follows. 1) The urinary Donaggio reaction values before working were most greatly influenced by the time for attending among the considered factors. 2) The increases of urinary Donaggio reaction values based on the work were larger in the 12-hours shift than in the other shifts, while no significant differences in the increases of them were found among the days during a week in every shift. 3) The work load of any shift in this shop was considered to be relatively a light one.
