Osteosarcoma (OS) and malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) are the most frequent sarcomas of the bones and soft tissues, respectivery. These tumors share a spectrum of histpathologic features. In order to elucidate the similarity and difference of tumor-specific genetic alterations between them, we analyzed DNA copy number aberrations of 7 Oss and 12 MFHs using comparative genomic hybridization (CGH).
