In this paper I discuss how piano education should be in the training process of music teachers. I sent out a questionnaire to my students and studied the results. From that inquiry and my teaching experience, I conclude that the piano educafion in that process should provide the students with the kind of training which will make them capabLe of ”musical expression,” not just making the right sounds on the kevboard.
