Frobel's third gift is cube. The cube is separated to eight small cubes. The whole cube and small cube are demonstrating Frobel's great second law. The law is called partial-whole. The second gift (cylinder) showed us practically first law of opposition-harmony. Now the cube present both law (law of partical-whole & law of opposition-harmony). Frobel's gifts are combined, but cube had contained his aim above all. Because, cube candivide itself. I understand that partition had given many variation for children. The first gift (ball) also show transformation, but it was too fast to observe. The reason is that ball's essence was activity, so ball point out rapid transformation. 0n the contrary, the cube's essence is remarkable halt. So cube's variations are able to observe. This point is excellent special feature than ball.
