'Yamaguchi and the World' and STEAM education
Abstract
山口大学は2022（令和4）年度より，STEAM教育の導入を本格的に開始した。この動きの中で，共通教育において重要な役割を担うことになったのが「山口と世界」のSTEAM 科目化である。本稿においては，従来からの「山口と世界」の課題とそれへの対応を振り返るとともに，具体的にどのように「山口と世界」のSTEAM科目化を果たしたか実践例を報告する。また，実践例に則して，新たに生じた課題とそれへの対応を報告し，今後のSTEAM教育（ならびにアクティブ・ラーニング）の改善方策を考察する。
