Recently, the style of the public library is diversifies. In this situation, it is important to understand needs of the user and the use actual situation. The purpose of this study is to clarify what is demanded in the present public library, by investigating needs of the user and the use actual situation. An investigation showed the place we can eat and drink is needed, the place we can study with talkative, and the liked area.
