When three-year-old children enter infant school , they will have their first experience of transition to a group society where they are not protected by their Family. It can be regarded as an experience of realistic maternal separation. The present this case study examined the role of stuffed toys for a three year old child (girl A) in such a transitional period. The study showed that she was Able to go though the sage of realistic maternal separation from her parents Much more easily with the help of toys, which can be regarded as transitional object and she developed a object relationship with her nursery teachers and gradually join in the play of her peer group. The present study was consistent with the theory of transitional object, plying, and the intermediate area of experience by D.W.Winnicott
