Because of one-directional moderate but long term compression, the remanent magnetization of rocks was slightly but clearly affected as functions not only of 'compressing intensity' but also of 'time elapsed'. The specimen made of white cement uniformly contained fine ferromagnetic mineral grains was compressed vertically as the horizontal component of its remanent magnetization was put perpendicularly to the geomagnetic field. After a suitable duration of compression, the compressed specimen was unloaded to be measured its remanent magnetization. And just after the quick measurement, the specimen was loaded again. Such a succession of loading, measuring the magnetization and re-loading was repeated over a period of 11 years The remanent magnetization moved gradually towards the meridian of the external magnetic field but perpendicularly to the axis of the compression. The present author would like to emphasize that the 'Time' affects likely as' Energy' behaving on some of physical phenomena.
