A new type of two-dimensional polyacryamide gel elecrtophpresis is descrribed. The first electrophoresis is isoelectric focusing (IEF) with capillary PAG and the second electroporesis PAGE in gradient concentration (5-22.5%) using the stacking buffer systems described by David and Ornstein. Usefulness of this method for the analysis of serum proteins of pregnants of women has been discussed.
