Thiety-nine workers exposed to toluene diisocyanate (TDI) during production of polyurethane foam were examined with serum IgE and 20 of them with leukogram and pulmonary function test by folw-volume curve. And air concentrations of TDI were determined in the workroom, The results obtained are as follows. 1. The TDI concentrations in the workroom were 0.017 to 0.021 ppm, and did not exceed 0.02 ppm, the current TLV. 2. The serum IgE in TDI workers were significantly higher than those in control workers.
