Three-dimensional optical coherence tomography (3D-OCT) has been introduced as guidance for percutaneous coronary intervention. It facilitates understanding of the deviceʼs interaction with the coronary arteries, particularly in bifurcation lesions. This review describes the development and recent advances in 3D-OCT and its clinical applications.
