A twenty-two-years-old unmarried woman, who had been working in a super-market for four years, going in and out of freezer locker many times a day, gradually began to have arthralgia. On July 6, 1973, she suddenly developed dysarthria and dysphagia which persisted for several days. At that time her blood pressure was 230/120. She was given a depressor drug but it had no effect. The patient was admitted on January 25, 1974. Admission findings were as follows: blood pressure 170/110 in both upper extremities and 150/100 in both lower extremities
