The clinical application of array CGH technology is eagerly awaited. It is necessary to clarify the genome markers closely associated with the clinical condition. The multifactor dimensionality reduction method (henceforth, MDR) analysis was applied to the array CGH data of 74 cases colorectal cancer in order to identify two or more spot clones, i.e., a clone marker, with the maximum separation ability between low stage and a high stage lesions. The optimal marker in one clone was 8q24.3 (Accuracy 0.7027, Sensitivity 0.9688, Specificity 0.5000), the optimal markers in two clones were 7q36.3 and 22q11.1 (Acc. 0.8108, Sen. 0.8438, Spe. 0.7857)…
