1.Myelographic examination of 133 cases of radicular sciatica were perfouned.Especially epidural myelography for disc lesion give good results where routine myelography faild. 2.The great majority of radicular sciatica, including the eases showing disc oritrusion,disc lesion without protrusion,traumatic meningitis sponalis adhesiva,dislocation of the lumbar spine,spondylolyasis or spondylolisthesis,develops originally on The basis of a disc lesion. 3.Disc lesion without protrusion(concealed ruptured disc)includes an immature from which may be followed by bisc protrusion and cured from,such as scarred disc and caleified disc. 4.Disc lesion with or without protrusion inevitably results in chronic infammatory changes in The epodural tissue,meninges and nerve root,which may produse typical clinical features of disc lesion. 5.The mejority of so-called traumatic meningitis spinalis sdhesiva is one with disc lesion without protrusion.
