On the Effect of Silica contained in Carbonized Rice Hull on the Growth of Rice Seedlings

Field and pot experiments were conducted to discover whether the silica content of rice seedlings can be increased by the application of rice hull materials,i.e.,rice hull, carbonized rice hull, and ash of rice hull､ into rice nursery bed. At the same time, the rice seedings collected from farmers' nursery beds and divided into two groups, according to whether carbonized rice hull were given or not, were analysed in silica content.
