On the Healing or Bone Fracture with Hyperparathormone.

This experiment attempts to see the healing of bone-fracture in hyper parathyroidism. A deep hole was made at preximal epiphysis of femur to articular cartilage and at diaphysis of femur as artificial bone-fracture. As the hyper parathyroidism, several canine parathyroid were imlpanted in submucular menbran sheet of dog. Experimental dogs were killed weekly until 18 weeks and the bone were examined histrologically, and obtained results were follow: 1. In the first period of osteocracia the absorption of bleeding in fracture was late and a few connective cells appeared and calcium deposition were not seen. 2. The ossifcation at middle healing period of bone-fracture was late. 3. The ossification and absorption of bone were late when the healing bone-fracture are under the chronic state. ....
