2nd Report, Shape of Trailing Vortex and its Streamwise Variation (The Properties of a Row of Trailing Vortices Generated in the Uniform Flow)

Following the previous paper, the measurements of trailing vortices behind a row of wing were made to examine mainly the shape and strength of those. Results show that the V-and W-component of mean velocity is produced by the trailing vortex, and that the secondary currents generated by those vortices direct downwards at the mid-span of wings, while upwards at the middle between the wings. The vortex wandering phenomenon is observed by the secondary flow vectors. The strength of trailing vortex increases with the attack angle.
