A major part of recent studies on gastric secretion in relation to gastric diseases were based on measurements of acid and pepsin in the gastric juice. Although various methods on measuring pepsin activity had been reported by many authors, much confusion were found clinically. Therefore a better method for pepsin estimation had been needed and here a new modified method of Anson's procedure was presented.
