The specie of Fagacea in the compound of 30 shrines in Hohoku-cho and 24 shrines in Toyoura-cho was investigated. Twelve species belonging to four genera, 9 broad-leaf evergreen species and 3 broadleaf deciduous species, were identified: Quercus phillyrae
