Recently the maximum-entropy method (MEM) has been applied to refine crystal structures. In this report, we introduce the method and assess the method in comparison with the Fourier synthesis method. X-ray diffraction intensity was measured by the use of a 4-circle diffractometer equipped in the Center. Two dielectric crystals, NaNO_2 and CH_3NH_3PbCl_3,were investigated
