This research aims at clarify actual state of management in cooperation with local communities in elementary school. Such school that manages in cooperation with local communities is expected to be becoming more popular in Japan. Therefore, We surveyed six small elementary schools in the Chugoku and Shikoku region. As a result of surveys, we clarified that these schools serve as a local facilities for local development in local communities as well as conduct the localized educational activities
