Descriptions
The flow pattern and the pressure drop in the fluidized and spouted beds were examined experimentally. Measurements of the pressure drop were made on the various angle β(=30,40,50,70 and 90 degrees) of the blade cascade and the various angle α(=0,10,20 and 30 degrees) and the various height e(=0,10,20 and 30mm) of the deflecting plate, and the flow patterns also have been observed by both the photograph and sketching. The results of these experiments are as follows : (1) The flow patterns of solid particles show the ”swirling” type flow when β=30&acd
