The purposeof this study is first to read the different action of muscles on the electromyogram (EMG) among three players, a beginner, a middle-skilled and a well-experienced player of the piano, and secondly to examine how that difference comes out on the experssion in their playing the piano. By analyzing the result of the experiment above, the present writer tries to find a method of teaching the fundamental technique to beginners.
