The present authors previously reported some paleomagnetic data on Tertiary andesites come from Naga-Shima and Yashiro-Shima Islands, southeast Yamaguchi Prefecture,west Japan(Domen et al 1977).This time, over 100 fist-sized rock samples were collected from Heigun-To (Heguri-Shima)lslet and Murotsu Peninsula which are located between Naga-Shima and Yashiro-Shima lslands mentioned above (Fig.1).These rock samples collected are about the same of the geologic ages and also of the rock type.In this report, the data on the natural remanent mag-netization(NRM)and also the virtual paleogeomagnetic pole positions (VGP)are shown.Samples More than 100 oriented samples (fist-sized)were collected at l l sites
