Descriptions
Fully developed turbulent flow characteristics in an isosceles triangular duct with a narrow apex angle were measured by means of a hot wire anemometer. Nonisotropic Reynolds stress in a non-circular cross sectional flow caused significant change in primary flow field and secondary flow field. The exprimental results were presented as a basic data for the progress of turbulence closure models in complex flow geometries.
