Descriptions
An epidemiological study was done on the records of allergen test for bronchial asthma patients seen at the allergy clinic of Sanyoso hospital during '78 to '80. The results obtained were as follows : 1) The ratios of positive patients were high on the allergen tests of House dust (H.D), Broncasma berna (B.B) and Candida. The half of patients were positive for two to three kinds of allergen tests. 2) It was found that the ratios of positive on the allergen tests and the number of positive allergens are related on the age of onset and the age of patients. 3) The ratio of positive for H.D was higher in the group of high-IgE patients than in the group of low-IgE patients. The level of IgE was significantly higher in the group of patients who were positive on six and more different allergens than in the rest of patients. 4) Twenty one kinds of allergens were classified into three groups by the analysis of CLUSTER method.
