A Statistical Examination on the Death for Liver Cancer in Yamaguchi Perfecture

In an attempt to estimate an occurrence of liver cancer in Yamaguchi perfecture, the mortality for liver cancer in the area was examined. In B, K, and N areas, the mortality of liver cancer were higher than the other area in Yamaguchi prefecture. The mortality of liver cirrhosis as well as liver cancer were higher in B and K areas and the mortality of both diseases fluctuated throughout the year. There is no relationship between the mortality of liver cancer and incidence of HBs antigen positive blood donor in the present study.
