Clinical Consideration on Carcinoma of the Colon and Rectum with Polyps and Colon Polyps

One hundred and thirty four cases of carcinoma carcinoma of the colon & rectum without polyps, 29 cases of carcinoma of the colon & rectum with polys and 22 cases of colon polyps were investigated. On histological examination of the polyps, atypia of the cell was increased according to enlargement of size of the polyps and irregularity of the shape of polyps. Sometimes the polyps were observed at the portion far from to carcinoma of the large bowel, and precise examination of th colon & rectum should be performed throughout the pre-, in- and postoperative periods.
