Three Cases of Osteogenesis Imperfecta Congenita

先天性骨形成不全症の3例

Descriptions
Three cases of osteogenesis imperfecta congenita were reported. Case 1, ine-month-old girl, complained of the disturbance of movement of left upper and right lower limbs. X-ray film showed a fracture of left humerus and right thigh bone at first and plenty of callus was found at fracture sites two months later. Case 2, four-day-old boy, had the bending of extremities. An autopsy at the age of eight days revealed the fractures of many long bones and the softening of skull. Case 3., two-month-old boy, was detected the marked skeletal deformity of lower limbs at birth. X-ray film showed the fractures of thigh bones and a mosaic sppearance of the skull. Case 1 and Case 3 (ar present, both are 11 months old and blue scleras) have been treated with magnesium sulfate and new bone fracture is not recognized.
