Descriptions
Using cultured embryonic chick heart cells, the electrical capacitance of cell membrane (Cm) was measured by square and ramp pulse methods. The Cm Values obtained by both methods are in accordance P/4 method, we could successfully eliminate the capacitative currents (Ic) alone,so as to isolate the ionic current. We confirmed that both Cm-measuring and Ic-cancelling prpcedures employed were efficient.
