A fenestration technie for aural demage following headtrauma was described. This technie has been newly devised by The author,and may be divided into The following surgical steps: 1.An endaural extracartilaginus incision.2.the exposure and sharp definition of horizontal external semicircular canal.3.Skeletonization of The bony wall of the external anditory canal.4.Decompression of The dura of The temporal lobe in the region of the epitympanic recess.5,The excavation of a fenestra in The bony eapsule of The sxternal horizontal semicircular eanal or vestiblar dome.6.Covering the fenestra with a cartilaginous stopple.
