内容記述(抄録等)We assayed inspired the oxgen concentration (F1O2) of Venturi masks which are often applied for breathing therapy. The results of this study as follows ; 1. The difference in the oxygen concentration of consecutive and inspiratory suctions was an average 0.25%, while the difference in the carbon dioxide concentration of consecutive and inspiratory suctions was sn average 0.6%. 2. Most of the measured mean values of Vickers Ventimask, and Multi-Vent were less than the manifested values. For each manifested value, the differences bitween the measured mean values and the manifested values were greater with Multi-Vent than with Vickers Ventimask. In particular, the differences between the two values for the 35% an 40% Multi-Vent were both more than 6%. 3. Differences in F_10_2 values of more than 5% were found in 40% Viskers Ventimask and 35% Multi-vent. Except for the influence of the expiratory CO_2 of the subject, we believe the above results were induced by many causes, such as, structural faults in the masks, etc…
